Senate Passes Conflict of Interest Law
West Who Senators passed a to law to stop "office collecting" among micronations. The West Who Senate passed the Conflict of Interest Act prohibiting West Who office holders from being a part of another nation's government. SB6 passed with a 70% yes vote in the Senate. Senate Leader Ron Hall said "It is a conflict of interest to serve in our government and also serve in another micronations government. I am glad the Senate passed this law." Hall noted that we have not seen a lot of people doing this in our nation, but it has occurred. The act prohibits citizens from holding multiple offices and from profiting financially from the office they hold.
